I've had my kit's displayed in Modelshop windows, but not yet in museums or the like. Although I've been thinking of making a diorama of a local landmark which I would then offer to the local visitor centre.

Hey Carl,
It;s funny. 043 (eric verberne) and I are building a K5 from Trumpeter. We are planning to display it in a railway museum over here.
When they don't want it, we look for other museums to display. But than we are very carefull wich museum; I've been to museums where the models were under a thick layer of dust or just placed somewhere everybody could touch it.
I know MrRoo had recently a simular expierence...
I displayed some of my models for a long time (2 years) in the LHS. I've also build some (railway)diorama's for that same shop as examples and "selling boosters".
Unfortunatly; I noticed the models have a hard time in the shop, even behind glass sometimes...

Paul, this case has thick plexiglass screwed over the opening, and the case itself is very well built.
The club is redesigning the mat inside,to look a lot neater, under the models.Remember , in that picture , the Leopold is 42" long.

Hi Carl,
I built a dio of a B-29 base located here during WWII for the Fort Hays State University library. It measures 8 feet by 12 feet 1/144th scale. It's been there for six years now.
Take care
Steve
