I just wanted to give a little update....My brave man hurt his back picking up his stepdaughters wheelchair (by himself the silly macho man). He followed up with several vitists to a quack

that made the injury worse. He finally called a trusted friend that happens to be a distinguished back dr. and is started on the road to recovery. Needless to say he has not been able to sit in his chair to visit with you all lately. He would like to say a hardy HELLO from the flat of his back on the floor.

Hopefully he will be able to function better next week. We have a trip to the railway museum planned on Friday!!! He misses all of you and modeling. we are thinking of rigging some type of sling so he can get to the computer and modeling table....He is unbearable.

Please give him my best.
Can't get much modeling done flat on his back on the floor, can he?

Well, at least he is in good hands, I believe
What the hell was he thinking visiting a quack when a doctor is among your friends????
Tell him to keep his rest and wish him a quick recovery from me, so he will be able to visit that museum together with you next Friday.

Howdy ' Missus' Murph'
Very sorry to hear the big guy is hurting. Maybe next time the silly bugger will ask for help when he's deciding to defy the Laws of Physics and Cantilevering!!

It is also very nice of you to let us all know how he's doin', and even
nicer of you to avoid stepping on our poor. prone, fellow modeler
Here's hoping our good Cuhail will get back on his feet and dancing

 { read, modeling....}
soon!
warm regards,

Ouch! That hurts!
You should tell your man he is not 20 anymore! I know by myself that more... mature guys need to be more carefull with physical efforts! It's not the effort in itself... it's AFTER the effort that the problems are coming! :-)
Anyway, I wish you and Cuhail to go to the museum friday! Hope he's in better shape then!

 Ha! You guys ROCK!
I am kneeling in front of the computer sending all of you my thanks for the well-wishes. It was pretty stupid of me to think I could extract a 120 pound wheelchair out of the truck alone and I realized this as I stood there wondering how to put it down when I couldn't bend my knees.
 Doh!
Turns out, the chiropractor I was seeing wasn't the most attentive doc in the market, and after seeing Dr. Bill (My friend in the "Biz") just ONE TIME, I feel so much better and as it happens, I'm out the door right after writing this for my second visit.
More on the subject after I can SIT at the computer and relate the whole gory story!
Thanks again guys, I'm gonna be alright!

 Hey guys,
I am so doing better! The new chiropractor is doing wonders. It still hurts a lot and tends to wake me up at night about 4 am, but, I can actually sit at the computer now and tell you folks all about it.
I wish I could sue the original chiropr., but, I'm just not that injured. He did mis-diagnose and mis-treat the injury, not to mention a horriblly mottled x-ray image and needless to say, I won't be refering anyone to him in the future.
Thanks for all the well-wishes everyone and it will be back to the workbench soon!

Ok, I am a typical Macho Man IDIOT! I went back to work and didn't take it easy AT ALL! Turns out that I wrecked all the work my doctor and I did and spent another two weeks on my back.
I'll let ya know when I hit the workbench again, soon.

Hi Murphy!
Well now you have NO other option than to listen to the Doctor and to your wife Giselle! I can imagine that hurts even more now!
Take it easy and let the other take care of you. Even if it takes too long, it's definitely an investment for the future!
