It's obvious what vehicle this is based on, and there are only two countries that still use that chassis (so far as I know); so c'mon Steve - put us out of our misery- just spent an hour on Google looking for this beast!

I got the Centurion base right from the start, and it had to be either South African or Israeli; and I didn't know that there was an ARV based on the Olifant or I'd have pinned it down sooner!

Oi Steve...
Forgot to tell ya... there's a new periodical out here in SA... we discussed it briefly
here in the SA forum... in the latest edition which will be available in English next month (Afrikaans this month) they have an article on the Olifant - think it also covers the ARV version... anyway... point is a copy will be in the mail to you as soon as it's on the shelf

Jim,........I may be having ... "Kittens"... by the time I have this "beauty" trained...............there are no plans for it as far as I know ...........so "pups" will be only avaiable if I can "draw" its teeth
Let me get a rope on this first and I may do some plans(using a tusk pen and my sweat) :-) :-)
