Hi there, some of you may remember my post a little while ago about how to insure my models for a overseas posting. Well problem was solved for me.
After a week away instructing guys for an upcoming Iraq tour I came home to that somebody had broke into my garage where Ido and keep all my finshed models. Luckily I dont any valuable stuff in there so there was nothing worth pinching. Obviously upset by this they decided they would trash everything instead including most the models in there.
So I just thought I would share this with yoy and urge you to make sure you keep your out buildings locked as I have seen the stash photos of some of you, imagine waking up to find it all gone!
Well as for me a syou can imagine I was a bit upset and annoyed making if I can them comments but luckily I am quite a shallow person so will get over it quickly..
Cheers
Robbo

PS.....Told you it would be quickly
(dont let the scum get you down )

That's just terrible, Robbo. Were they just totally destroyed or was there anything you could salvage? On the bright side, you can look forward to redoing some of them brand new!

That's lovely... you get rewarded for doing your duty to your queen and country by having your stuff vandalised!

I hope those guys get what's due to them! A swift kick in the !

Sorry to hear that Robbo. Its not a nice thing to happen to anyone. I think it was probaly youngsters with nothing better to do . Thats the state of our country at the moment, as Richard Littlejohn says " we are going to hell in a handbasket".
P.S not all youngsters are like this

Hi
A few of the models I could save but some had been stood on so were completely scrapped, when I piled them up it looked like a convoythat had been caught and strafed by some Jabo's.All th efinished dios were ruined as well as the groundwork shattered when they were pulled of the shelf but I manged to salvage some pieces from these.
It is a shame about the models and stuff but I am just grateful my wife or kids didnt hear them and go outside to investigate.
Thanks for all your kind words.
Cheers
Robbo

Good thing that your family is safe...
what in the world would make such people destroy all your work when they find nothing valuable in your garage?? Good thing is you didn't park your car there...

oh my days, this is the type of Chav culture we live in nowadays over here in the UK ... the selfish, mindless cretins couldn't take anything so they WRECK everything

it's enough to knock you sick.
