Hey all!

A question for the system managers squad over here!

I'm having problems with my PC screens.
I've got a Philips Brilliance 107MP and there are little stripes flashes over it all the time in a non-regular way. Just like when you put a vent to close to the screen, or simular with a magnet.

It's there for some seconds, than gone for some seconds, than it's there again. It are very light stripings, but the flashing is noticable.
And allthough your first impression is that it's not too bad and it's workable I can asure you that after a few hours it's just as if you have seen a psychedalic videoclip...
I feel like a or #:-) than...

I changed it for another screen of the same type (Brilliance 107MP). The first weeks there were no problems, but now it is starting all over again...

There are two speakers integrated in the screen, but I do not use them.
I was wondering if it could be that the problem I face comes from the speakers magnetic field inside the monitor.

Does anybody has the same screen or perhaps faces the same screen problems? Or does somebody know how to solve it?

Thanks!

Paul

Hi Paul

Try a google search on 'degaussing monitor'. Don't think it would be the built-in speakers as they should be shielded
