U.S. 2 1/2 Ton 6X6 Cargo Truck "Red Ball Express"

Item No: 89648
- Full of great extras, this set is a self-contained mini-diorama.
- Cargo truck features detailed engine, suspension & drive train
3 figures included.
- Accessories include 6 drums, 20 Jerry cans, bags, sheets and more.
- Suited for a Normandy diorama.

German Kubelwagen Type 82 Africa-Corps "Rommel Field Command Post"

Item No: 89649
- Special set for a simple vignette of Rommel and his Africa Corps during WWII.
- Kübelwagen with balloon tires for desert use.
- Desert dress Rommel, choice of 2 poses.
- 1 standing soldier and 1 seated radioman.
- Accessories include tent, jerry can, communication set and crate.


These 2 kits are new releases by Tamiya... anyone happen to see them in the market already??

Ike, I've not seen them yet. But try Tamiya Showroom..They always have the latest there. Havn't been there for quite awhile though..

Can can... I was planning to go there tomorrow actually... but shall see how first.. time is a constraint... haha.. I must complete some kits... otherwise the boxes are pouring all over the place.. :-)

Ike, not sure if u've been to the Tamiya showroon recently. I went there yesterday and saw the 2 kits u're looking for. The rommel kit is actually a kit bash of the tent set w/ radioman (which is a fairly old one), kubelwagon w/ balloon tires and a scaled down size of Rommel 1/16 fig..

Thanks Psyfool for your update. Haven't been to tamiya showroom yet.
I read some posts in the international armor forum regarding the 6x6 Cargo truck and I think it isn't that much worth it as Tamiya just re-used the older kit + some accessories and jack up the price..

Maybe the Rommel field command post set might be more value for money... once again.. thanks Psyfool

Yeah..That's what i tot. These kits are not actually new, just re-packaged and updated a bit.
