I don't know what $20 AB you are asking about specifically but you can get a decent "starter" AB with a warranty for about $40 from Bear Air.
The Aztek 9174 Model Set is awful similar to what I use.

They work about as well as a ratle can. Do waht Shaun says, save a few dollars more and get a good starter brush. There are plenty around.

Stephen, walmart sells a double action aztek airbrush with paint and a gass bottle kit for 70cdn. id recomend it to give airbrushing a try, jsut remember to keep the co2 bottle warm in water or else you wont have any more air comming out...
The 20 dollar single action is crap...
