A long time ago (no, Yodaman, this is not about SW ! ), Verlinden had those extremely small letterings in 1/35 and 1/48 in different colors for dry transfer. It was superb for labeling ammo, etc. Does it still exist ? I didn't find it in any of the model shops in town this afternoon. Are there other brands that make such small letters / words ?
I'm looking for white lettering, and yellow.

I was just down at our local hobby shop and yes they do still exsist.....I have 2 of them myself.....but I still see them in Verlinden's catalogue.

GeneralZod is right; try with: Archer Transfers. They have Generic Lettering in various colors (white and yellow, too) as well as Stencil Lettering... Browse their catalogue and you'll find what you are looking for.

Agree also try the RR stuff as they make small stencils and lettering
