Yesterday i was in Charlotte, NC getting ready to fly back to Nebraska. While standing in line for Security check, A group of american soldiers arrived home after there tour in Iraq. Families were there to greet them as they made their way through the terminal.
I can't express how much pride and emotion there was in that airport at that moment. Cheers erupted throughout the terminal. Applauds and welcomes. It was so emotional. Just to think that these guys had been serving their country and that they were now home safe with their families. Myself, as were many of the people waiting in line, were crying right along with all the families...

God it makes you so proud to an American...Soo to all you guys out there that keep our country safe GREAT JOB.. And for those who are not home yet...Heres wishing you a safe return....

It's always good to see returning members of the armed services.
Around me, since it really is a bunch of smaller towns making up a larger urban area, each town rolls out the red carpet, and put up banners, signs, and flashing signs welcoming home the returnees.

Yeah?

Wish I'd joined the American Army instead of the British Army.
