Whilst browsing the articles section I've found that in some cases the pics are not appearing. In some the thumbnails don't show, only the dreaded "red X" but they show when I click on them and the pop-up opens. In others there's only "red X" in both thumbnail and pop-up.

I don't know if this a problem at my end but one example where I get the problem is the following:

http://armorama.co.uk//features/280

Another is this article:

http://armorama.co.uk//features/443

Could someone try the links to see if it is my browser that is the problem?

Thanks guys.

Martin..... I'm also getting the famous 404 error....
I'm sure staff Jim, or an editor will correct this shortly.

Most likely the photos supporting the articles have been removed from the gallery.

Yep... didn't think of that Dave,
But shouldn't they have been moved and saved before posting the article?

It kooks like these articles were written before we were saving the photos. Guntrucks article was 11-15-2003 and Mr. Roos was 11-14-2004.

There are several older features that have thumb images embedded using HTML. When I upgraded to PhotoPost 5.0 it changed the naming convention and location for thumbs so many of these are still not working. The images are still there in the gallery just not named the same way. I fixed Gunnies photos and updated them to the proper dynamic format for thumbs.

Cliff's article is a different scenario. The photos still need to be added back to the gallery and the article updated with the new photo id's.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim you just need to tell me which article and I can reload the pics to my gallery where you or an editor can then move them to where you want them.

cheers

Cliff,
The link is up there in the first post. It's one of the CCKW articles.

If you do that we should be able to re-associate the pics.

Thanks,
Jim

I am uploading the pics now to a new album in my gallery. Which ever editor re establishes the links please shift the pics to a safe place and delete them from my gallery.

thanks
Cliff
