Even though I actually joined a year ago, I served only as a silent troll up until recently.

I returned to modelling a couple of years ago, after a 15 year absence from the hobby. Upon my return, I spent most of my time building large scale F1 cars, and Tamiya motorcycles. I have spent the last two years building 1/48 and 1/32 aircraft. Upon completion of my current project (1:32 Tamiya F-4J), I will switch to 1/35 armor.

My first project is slated to be my grandfather's tank from WWII....a Three Rivers Regiment Sherman V.

I am likely to most active in the Canada forum asking all kinds of questions about the project. I will also be very active in the Buy/Sell forum, as "she who must be obeyed" puts a strict limit on the size of my stash.

Prior to becoming an active poster here, I spent most of my time over on ARC (with the same username).

Look forward to contributing here.

Cheers,

Delbert

Kevin welcome!
I guess there are many silent members and I'm glad you decided to become active on the site.
I'm looking forward to your contributions and specially to your Sherman project of your grandfather's tank from WWII. That's really a nice idea. Keep us posted!

You could get involved straight away, and share the building of your Sherman in this Campaign .
Looking forward to see some of your work.

Cheers

Bienvenue Kevin!

I hope the "switch" is not definitive! Modelling aircrafts isn't a shame! Anyway, Armor, Aircrafts, Figures, Dioramas, Sci-Fi, Civil etc... all is here at Armorama and we can learn from all!

Thanks for the kind welcome folks.

Reason for switch to armor was merely wanting to try new things.......haven't built armor since I was a young lad. First armor kit was the Tamiya M1A1, and the only thing I remember about the build was that no paint was involved.

I think I can do better now.

Cheers,

Kevin

Hi Kevin!

I made some 1/72 arrmor as I was a kid, mainly Matchbox. Now I started to buy the 1/48 range of Tamiya Armor kit and will build some in the future! I hope they will make a 1/48 Puma, it's my favorite! The Campaign thing even decided me to build a "flatop"! I also made some figures some time ago so... the best is to try EVERYTHING I guess!
