I recently posted about the passing of my dog of 16 years. Well, I took the advice of everybody here and got a new pup on the way. Now I'm asking you all out there to give me some suggestions for a name. The shelter currently has her listed as Lady.....how boring. Here is her pic. Let me know what you all come up with. Thanks. I like sunshine. Reminds me of the song from Kelley's Heroes, "All for the Love of Sunshine."

What ever you name her will be fine. The important issue is that now your house is once again complete.

If you want someting different there's my daughter's name BASMA which means " a smile" in Arabic.
It's pronounced.. the Bas part ... as in the fish seabass, and the MA is pronounced like the begining of the name of the State Massachussets. BASMA.

Or my old dog's (pomeranian) name BELLA, ofcourse meaning beautiful in Italian. Or Bella Luna.. beautiful moon.

Gorgeous looking dog by the way.

Thanks to all so far. My daughter has a girlfriend who is a cheerleader and her name is Cheyenne. I better skip that one, although I do like it.

My kids and I tossed around Khoda ( Kota) as well. I like that one.

We should be picking her up today hopefully. Seems like everything is falling into place. We found a new pup, AND we have a buyer for our house, AND we found our temp residence while the new house is being built....all this took place yesterday! Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks again to all for your input. I'll let you know what we come up with. Thanks again. "Q"

ps. if you look close you can see she has one blue eye...her left eye. My dog now has one blue eye as well, his right. His name is "Blue". They should look good together

Well, we got her home and all is fine thus far. Our other dog is trying to figure out just what to do, but he is accepting her pretty well. She is still kind of timid around him, but I know it takes them time to adjust to one another. Still tossing name ideas around. Although I like Cheyenne, I can't use it due to my daughters friend having the same name. Shes a teen and would like totally freak like all out like you know.
:-) :-)
I will continue to take request though and search on my own. Thanks again for everybody input. "Q"

That's a sweet looking little pup you got there.....
Not even going to suggest a name.... I would not suggest what you should call one of your kids, so I'll refrain from suggesting a name for the newest member of your family. I'm sure she'll brings lots of love and joy to all of you, and receive lots of love and joy in return.

I presented what suggestions I had gathered here to the family. They couldn't agree so we talked on our own about it. After several attempts from the kids and wife, we all agreed on a name for her. I own a 2003 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide. We liked Harley, but that was too "boyish". We all agreed on "Dyna" and it seems to fit her. She's loud (for a pup), likes to run, and is fond of sniffing my bike for some reason. That and it definately has a female sound to it, just a diferrent spelling. Thanks for all of your input. I'll see if I can get a pic of her and our other dog to post here. Thanks again. "Q"
