LOL, I actually posted this earlier during the week... curiously we both called it the same thing... Monster Dio!

Most impressive. I wonder how long it took to get it all done? There are so many little scenes going on throughout the dio. Very well thought-out and executed, I have to say. This was at Nationals, right?

Yes, was at Nationals. Truly remarkable. Great dio with many scenes in it.
Would like to know how you move that thing around, though. Would scare the hell out of me to pack it for a trip somewhere.

I'ld seen the earlier pics and had meant to ask if it was 35th or 72nd, after seeing the guy next to it, obviously 35th. I'm sure it was dissasembled to transport. Probably all the vehichles removed and the scenery in sections. Years ago, the dallas club took one of those4 x 8 sheets and bolted fold down table legs to the bottom and built a massive diorama. All vehicles were removed and quite a few figures for transport. then they had a diagram when they got to show spent two hours following diagram to put it back together.

The builder said he transports it in his wifes Ford Expedition. Can totally see why. Awesome work. 6 months steady work is also what he quoted. Very nice indeed. "Q"
