For a diorama I have planned, I am going to need two US MPs, and the only ones I have found are Tamiya's. So, I have two questions: Does anyone have any idea where I can get some, and how in the world do you get those blasted little black armbands on them? Thanks for your time.

I'm here what do you need? :-) sorry couldn't resist

I've just gone to painting the black brassard on, then using dry transfer letters for the MP.

Yes?

I couldn't resist either.

I'm doing the same thing as AJ.

And they were dark blue, not black. I can scan the one I have my uncle's if you'd like. It's WWII issue
If you need modern, I can scan mine....and it is black.

Warriors makes a US MP fig. There is also a decal sheet by Hudson and Allen that has MP arm bands. I believe it is their Airborne decal sheet. As far as the Tamiya set goes I'd search ebay for it.

One of my 10+ year old Verlinden catalogs has a resin MP. Since it was not that popular you may be able to find them cheap.
