Hello all,

In high school we cleaned our drafting ink out of our drafting pens with an ultrasonic cleaner. I saw one in the micro-mark catalog that said it can be used for air brush and regular brush cleaing. My question is have any of you used one of these for that purpose and would it be worth the investment?

$75 in micro-mark. I don't know if it would ever pay for itself, thats why I thought I would ask if someone here has tried it out.

A suggestion for you drew (maybe). The craft store, Michael's, almost always has a 40% off coupon printed in Sunday's newspaper out here in Colorado. I asked my wife about this and she said she believed (again, maybe) she saw them for $59.95.
With a 40% off coupon, that would make it approx. around $35.00! Sound's a bit better.

Tread.

The ultrasonic cleaners do a reasonably good job, although a lot depends on the type of solution used. Some cleaners can also build up a fair amount of heat as they operate, so it is best not to leave them unattended
