Keith Forsyth [ DOCDIOS ] Has a very simple way of adding rivets to almost anything. He credits Ian saddler with the idea and a good one it is too.

Great idea!!

But if the British Pound was so cheap as he stated (3 Gbr Pnd = $2,00) I would buy all my stuff in Brittain!!
Shame they don't sell these tappwater-filters here in Holland, it's a simple yet very effective method for making rivets...

Hi All , One important item missed in the write up . Do not under any cirumstances dry them off in a MICRO WAVE OVEN. They will Explode and you will end up with a pebble dash kitchen, cheers ian sadler

I have also found them available in A.C.Moore, in a small clear plastic tube in one of the craft sections,(sorry, it's been a while, and I do not remember the exact section) for about $1.50 a package. I used them on my "incoming campaign piece."

That sure beats the heck out of buying a rivet "maker" or buying the pre-made rivets. Many thanks for the post!!
