Wow! I honestly was stumped by your question originally as I don't really do much in the way of drybrushing. I have to agree with Scott though as it would do wonders I'm sure, Hilbert.

I wouldn't dry brush over a winter camouflage. Give it several wahes to dirty it up. You can go quite heavy, but do it in layers to avoid overdoing it. Dry brushing dark over light doesn't work very well.
No dry-brushing here

nor here

I'm with Henk on this one. I wouldn't dry brush over white. I would use the base color to "wear" the white finish, but not in a drybrushing style.

Not thread highjack but I was going to post this question anyway. What color for camo? I'm completing a British Priest that is tan, brown, and green. Do you drybrush each color separately of do the tan, which is the base color, or what?

Hilbert: I agree with the others: no drybrushing on a winter whitewash. I did not use any on the Tiger that is in my banner.
Rodger: I have had good luck using a single color for all my drybrushing on armor (German and US): Unbleached Titanium oil paint. I do only a single very light dry-brushing as I think more than that looks unrealistic.
