Hi...Don't want to overflow the 'What's on your workbench' string..So I start a new topic. Here's some pix of the dio pieces i bought and used before. The brand on the packaging says 'Nitro'...U can find it at Tai Seng Corp at North Bridge Rd (nr Sultan Mosque). Cost $7.90 each..Fairly decent, but still need to touch up first to make it more realistic...

The one I bought yesterday..Soon will be a MachineGun nest for some krauts....

This German Mortar team dio I made some time back, also uses another type of the dio piece..It's an embankment supported by timber. This one comes in 2 seperate pieces in a pack...One is used here and the other used on the next dio below....

The other half is used in this Puma dio w/ FJs...

Think for the price, quite worth it....Time to build Dios guyz!!

Thanks for sharing the pictures with us Psyfool... the base where you're going to place the machine gun nest... is it painted alread in that colour?

Also, the motar team one... how did you make the bunker? Ice cream sticks?

I havn't started anything on the MG nest dio..Must drop by Spotlight to look for a suitable base..It'll be another small dio...

No, the bunker is that dio piece from Nitro that I'm talking about...It's already molded like that...It comes in 2 pieces..There's another version, mainly made up of sandbags, I used that one for my Flak 88 dio...

Not too sure...But can be used...I've assembled my MG team just now just to see how they figure in that bunker..The bunker a bit small, can only hold 3 of them (gunner, loader & team leader)..The range finder guy I guess must fit in some other dio...

Not advisable...He'll get shot for sure! Seriously, I tink better not to include him, the bunker will be too overcrowded...No worries, he can always join some other unit in some other dio
