Hi. Well, once again the pick up is back in the garage for trans. trouble. They putting in a new shifting linkage in it now.

While over there I asked the servie manage about the new HHR vehicle I'd seen on the Net. that Chevy is bringing out here in Sept. He took me out back and I got to look at one in the flesh, or metal, so to speak.

Very nice vehicle, much along the lines of the Chrysler PT Cruiser and the SSR sports vehicle Chevy now sells. Except that instead of gas-sucking V-8 it's a 4 cylinder and I can get it with a standard shift. Looks like just the right thing for us older folks who don't particularly care to be pulling into the gas station all the time. (I cuss that truck every time I have to do so with it.) Also It will do nicely to haul the every-expanding group of grand-kids around too, not to mention the model boxes that for some reason I keep bringing home from the hobby shop. Now I just have to wait fot them to get one in that isn't sold so I can take it for a test drive. But I do believe I'll be sold on this one.

Take care, Sgirty
