OK to get the simple ones out of the way
Bruce Wayne = Batman
Selena Kyle = Catwoman
Dick Grayson = Robin
Clark Kent = Superman
Peter Parker = Spiderman
Bruce Banner = the Hulk
Johnny Storm = the Hman torch
Sue Storm = the invisable woman
Reed Richards = Mr Fantastic
Ben Grimm = the Thing

I know that Tony Stark was Ironman, but can't remember who Thor or Captain America were. I know Thor was some crippled MD and that CPT America was some athlete named Steve who fought in WW2 got frozen or something and then came back in the 60's

For those that want to show off your knowledge, feel free to throw as many new ones up Heros and villians as you desire, try not to repeat any though....I mean who needs 20 guys telling us that Batman was Bruce Wayne.

To go along with my signature line:
Hal Jordan
Guy Gardiner
Kyle Rayner all = Green Lantern (humans, at least)
John Stewart

A few more:
Frank Castle = The Punisher
Norman Osborn = First Green Goblin
Harry Osborn = Second Green Goblin
Eddie Brock = Venom
Cletus Casady = Carnage
Dr. Curt Connors = The Lizard
Harvey Dent = Two Face
Edward Nigma = The Riddler
Cain Marko = Juggernaut
Tim Drake = Third Robin
Jason Todd = Second Robin
Barry Allen = Second Flash
Wally West = Third Flash
Oliver Queen = Green Arrow
Ted Cord = Second Blue Beetle
Luke Cage = Power Man (before he dropped the secret identity)
Jon Jonzz = Martian Manhunter (as though a secret identity does him any good)
T'challa, King of Wakanda = Black Panther
Diana, Princess of Themyscyra = Wonder Woman
Namor McKenzie= Sub Mariner
Jim Rhodes = War Machine (where my call sign comes from)
Dr. Otto Octavius = Dr. Octopus
Wilson Fisk = The Kingpin of Crime
Felicia Hardy = Black Cat
Danny Rand = Iron Fist
Hal Jordan = The Spectre (until recently when he went back to being a Green Lantern)

I'm not sure about the spelling of all of those, but most of them should be right, or at least reasonably close.
That's all that come to mind now, not counting X-Men. I'm sure some more will come to me sooner or later.

My weekly shipment of comics just came in and jogged my memory a bit. Plus, since mutants are superheroes and villains too, why not list some of them? So, hang on, true believers!

Billy Batson = Captain Marvel (Shazam!)
Charles Xavier = Professor X
Scott Summers = Cyclops
Alex Summers = Havoc
Nathan Summers = Cable
Rachel Summers = Second Phoenix
Jean Grey = Marvel Girl, First Phoenix
Henry "Hank" McCoy = Beast
Bobby Drake = Iceman
Warren Worthington III = Angel/Archangel
Logan/Puck/James Howlett(?) = Wolverine
Henry "Hank" Pym = Giant Man, Ant Man
Janet Pym = The Wasp
Piotr Rasputin = Colossus
Brian Braddock = Captain Britain
Betsy Braddock = Psylocke
Emma Frost = White Queen
Remy LeBeau = Gambit
Clint Barton = Hawkeye
Eric Magnus/Eric Lensherr = Magneto (Magnus is more widely used)
Marc Spector = Moon Knight
Kurt Wagner = Nightcrawler
Ororo Monroe = Storm
Jack Monroe = Second Nomad, Second Bucky
Steve Rogers = First Nomad
Pietro Maximoff = Quicksilver
Wanda Maximoff = Scarlet Witch
Katherine "Kitty" Pride = Shadowcat
Fred Dukes = The Blob
Dr. Doom = Victor Von Doom
Victor Creed = Sabretooth
William Baker = Sandman
Max Dillon = Electro
Johann Schmidt = Red Skull
Jennifer Walters = She Hulk

Man, with my collection of comics, comic references, and near total lack of a life, I could go on for days like this. Somebody help me! I'm turning into a nerd! Please help me before it's too late!
Oh, wait, it already is. Oh well!

I really hope you guys aren't posting all this stuff off the top of your heads. If you are, that is really, well, sorta creepin' me out...

Well, I hate to creep anyone out, but, most of those names were off the top of my head. I had to check a couple to make sure I wasn't mixing them up, but most were strictly from memory.
Things like this can happen when you amass a comic book collection numbering in the hundreds, if not approaching a thousand by now.

Jack Napier as the identity of the Joker is a pretty sticky subject. The Tim Burton movie is the only place where that name is used. The Joker's identity has never been definitively disclosed in the comics.
Some recent books with one version of a possible origin list his name as Napier, but the older and more often told story doesn't give any name at all, and none of them have him as a gangster, ala Jack Nicholson's character.
In fact, the true name and origin of the Joker is one of the biggest lingering mysteries in comics. The only one bigger might be the origin of Wolverine. I've listed two of the names he's been known by, but there has never been a rock-solid answer to what his real name is in the comics.
I keep putting stress on the comics origins since those are generally considered to be the true origins/identities of characters to us comics nerds. This is due to the way Hollywood has a way of tinkering with the way the stories were told for a variety of reasons. For example, the Burton Batman movie had Jack Napier killing Thomas and Martha Wayne, when in fact it was a low-level thug names Joe Chill who did this (as shown in Batman Begins, although that version was different from the origin story in the books as well).
Man, I've really gone on for too long on such a relatively insignificant subject. I guess it comes with being a comic nerd in general, and a long-time Batfan in particular.
Oh, and one other thing. There was a second Ghost Rider whose secret identity was Dan Ketch. I didn't know the guy's name right off the top of my head, but I did know that there was more than one Ghost Rider.
Okay, now I'm done (for the moment).

I wasn't trying to be offensive and hope I didn't step on anyone's toes. Hell I know a guy that can name all the Vice Presidents in order. Now that is creepy.

ED is correct, the theme is "Comic" not movie/TV private names of the heroes. All the ones I got were off the top of my head, which is why I had to ask for help, and realizing how fun these types of posts are. There's a wealth of knowledge out there all for the asking, and believe me brother I ask. I still have 70% of my brain open to store it in.

Don't sweat it, Keegan. I didn't take any offense at your post, and actually found it pretty funny. Believe me, I've heard a lot worse said about me and the vast wealth of generally useless knowledge that my brain is crammed with.

Edit: I just stumbled across this one:
Pamela Isley = Poison Ivy
