Another addition to my Russian collection, KV-1 from Trumpeter. Finished it in just 10 hours of labor.

See it here!

Hi Shonen,

You did a Very nice and clean build and it took you only 10hrs. One thing I noticed is that the Trumpeter decals seem to be thick -- it looks embossed.

Cheers

Thanks guys! The decals are kinda thick nga. I added several coats of decal softener, pero makapal pa rin

Don't worry about my decal comment...its just because I have a KV-2 and I guess it would have the same decal quality/features. Your kit looks very very good naman even with the thick decal...

Cheers

I was supposed to build it after the T-34, but the dark side got the better of me. I'll be building the Brummbar muna -- so the KV-2 is still in the box . When I build the KV-2, I'll probably be hand-painting some of those Russian slogans and advertisements...

Been a while (maybe 2 years) since i last posted at this forum. Wow, how we've grown in numbers. Saw the pics and it looks great. Aren't you going to dirty it up a little. Looks good though even without the weathering.
