Guys, I really need your help right now. I going to Normandy this Sunday (Oh happy day!!) with my parents. I need some advice on the museums and points to see. I've found these on Google:

-Utah beach D-Day museum
-Omaha Beach Memorial museum
-Arromanches landing museum
-Saint-Mere Eglise airborne museum
-Pointe du-Hoc
-Wittmann's grave
-Pegasus bridge

Now please tell me if these are OK and add some more if you have any ideas. I'm mainly interested in Armor (doesn't matter if its Allied or Axis, I nedd reference material). Thanks in advance,

p.s: I was also thinking about seeing Falaise. Any interesting things there?

you may want to have a stop at the Bayeux commonwealth cemetry and the Bayeux liberation museum.

I have seen allmost all you had on your list, except for wittman's grave ( then again.. i have never been too curious about that either ).

Looks like you have a good itenerary there.

Go to Falaise.
There's a nice little Overlord museum in an old cheese factory, and a huge f**k-off Norman castle on a hill, erm something to do with William the Bastard.

Also worth getting hold of a book called 'Gold Juno Sword' by (I think) George Bernages in Heimdal pubs, and then drive along the whole Gold, Juno and Sword areas to check out what is there; the book helps because it has then and now photos.
Hope that helps,
MC
