as of now i am at a camp for animatronics and toy design, and today we began to work with the molding

i am in a university lab with all kinds of plastic molding equipment (massive room wide machines), such as injection molders, vaccum former, and many more, including metal

had i known this, i would have brought a few pieces to mold and replicate, but i didnt. I am however working on an a US crate that i will mold and copy

will definetly use this knowledge to help with modeling, and am even learning more tomorrow!!!

Hi all!

Talking about molding! Does anyone know of a website with detailled pictures of the molding process of a plastic kit? I never saw such pictures on the web! Is this Top Secret?

Muttley,
Production tooling used to produce sprues for injection molded plastic kits is made out of stainless steel (most of the time.)
No rubber...
