Hey all-
I am currently in the process of building the Italeri HH-60H and after seeing what little details are on the helo, I wanted to add the many rivets that are on the helo. However, I am at a loss as to how I can make lots of uniform bumps about a half milimeter in diameter on a braille scale helo.
Any ideas?

Kyle,
For something that small, I suggest to use Elmers white glue.Pour out a small amount, then, using a tooth pick dap into glue and then dap it on to the model. In a few hours you'll have a ton of rivets. It really does work.

Thanks Joe. One question though. Since I use acrylic paints, would the Elmers dissolve? Should I use enamel paints instead, at least for the primer coat?
Thanks again.

Hey Kyle,
No problem either way. Once the glues drys, it drys rock hard. If your airbrushing you should have no problem, if your brush painting I don't think you should have a problem. What I mean is that I don't think the paint will disolve or soften the glue. One thing you'll have to watch for is, if you drybrush be careful if you brush to hard you may knock off the glue rivets.

The Elmers works, but Archer dry transfer rivets will be faster for you. I used them when I added missing window frame detail on my 1/35 UH60.
