I was working on hollowing out a number of different size barrels and came across the need for more than one pin vice. The brain started churning.... Think Think Think...


A Mechanical Pencil!


A 5mm Mech. Pencil will hold a #75 bit very nicely.

I realize the scaleabiltiy and number of bits it can be used with is limited. If you're in a bind and need a second pin vice give it a try.

Did you already TRY it, or does it still have to be tested ? I like the idea.
