Ciao Pat,
Yes, I will be spending most of the day getting the boards out, buying water, gasoline, canned goods, etc. We aren't leaving this time, so wish us luck. We will be sitting on ground zero, I'm afraid.
Ciao for now

Well if your staying then good luck.

But when its over pleas don’t burn or throw out the plywood. Keep it for the next storm or sell it. Us carpenters don’t like seeing the price continually rising all season.

But seriously for all of you along the cost good luck and stay safe.

While living in Tampa, I went through enough hurricanes to know I don't want to do it again - even though they were never this big. Stay down, and prep the sandbags!

Oh, from past experience, unplug your computer power, cable (internet and TV if applicable), and anything that might fry in lightning. I'm sure you know as well as all Floridians why they call Florida the Lightning Capital of the World!

Best of luck and let us know how you fared.
