Pictures are started to come in from this 4th of July. I wanted to share this with yoy all.

This was the Ft. Worth Cats 4th of July baseball event. That is me carring the US Flag. I did plenty of Color Guard performances back in high during the football games. This one ment alot becuase it was my first Color Guard command in the US Army. Also, I got to do this on the 4th of July. How good can it get.

This young lady is SPC Stephanie Hall. She, along with here Texas National Guard Black Hawk crew crashed in Iraq. She was the crew chief and door gunner for the black hawk. She threw out the honorary first pitch for the game.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Do you believe that we got together that morning at 0900 and practiced as a team for the first time. We went on at 1900. We are still getting e-mails from the owner, PR person, and people from our command on how good we did.

My two weapon beariers had done Color Guard before in High School too. For my Texas flag bearer, this was here first time doing anything like this and she was nervous all day. She came out with flying colors.

By the way, here are thier names:

American Flag Weapon Bearer: PFC Marty Vineyard
Texas Flag Bearer: SGT Jenifer Tucker
Texas Wewapon Bearer: PFC Juan Lerma

American Flag, 4th of July, and baseball, HOW AMERICAN CAN YOU GET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a bit stereotypical but, given this is Texas, the M-16s kind of go hand in hand here too!

Great picture. You look really good and should be proud. Hell, all four of you look great.
Who is the guy on the right doing the High School yearbook photo thing with his finger?

Thanks for serving and keeping me and mine safe, Pete.

God Bless,

Shaun

Just noticed that Shaun. I don't think he was aware he was doing that. He was the guy who sang the National Anthem.
