I'm thinking about making a diorama with one truck cut in half, and the ends flipped around to simulate a truck train as shown in below.
Has anyone cut through a vehicle like this? Did you have any problems? I can see the front cab may be hard to balance. My modeling skills are at the intermediate level, and I don't want to get in over my head. Any advice is appreciated.

You would need to use a fairly rigid piece of clear plastic and fix (with glue or similar) the cut ends of the truck to them to provide stability and strength.
Apart from this I forsee no other real major problems

Really cool this idea. Fun thing is that I also have a project on the drawingboard with exactly the same idea for an Opel Blitz. Looking forward to see your Progress on this. Exactly the kind of thinking I really like

Great idea! I admire all those people who aren't afraid to cut trough a model... it always seems as cruelty to me and im afraid to do it... But I think your idea is great and I'm sure it'll come out wonderful!
It seems that the problem will be on the front side. I thought of something to make it stabilized: just dill a hole in the bottom of every front wheel (deeper- more stabilized) and place it on two pint connected to the base. if it isn't clear tell me.. ill post a Sketch
