Hey there Jackcais,

The only other Hobby Shop perse is Leisure World on the other side of town. They carry quite a few kits, paints, brushes, etc, etc.

I can't remember exactly the address, or even the street name, as I am not from PEI....just know where to find it.

Take a look in the phone book....or maybe Mark from PEI will happen along this post and could let you know exactly where it is.

PS: Where in NB are you????? I am in Fredericton!! If you are close by, should check out our Model Club meetings. I can forward more info to you if you are interested.

Great hobbies is still going in Stratford, Leisure World is having a 35% off sale right now and there selection is limited and with 35% off the kits are still pretty pricey. They have a limited amount of paints and tools as well. It is located on the Trans Canada on the north side of Charlottetown if you are coming from the bridge. Great Hobbies is still a Tamiya Mecca and they are having there ongoing 20% off the second kit which makes it worth buying multiples. They have just restocked Tamiya and Testors Acryl paint lines and I believe that they have Humbrol as well. There are no new releases stocked at Great hobbies right now. Enjoy your stay on PEI.

Back when Leisure World was in the Charlottetown Mall (in the 80s) they had a good selection of kits as a friend of mine worked there at the time and he was a model builder as well so he kept the shelves well stocked. Unfortunately my last couple of trips home I didn't even bother going to their new store as they had a pretty poor selection. Great Hobbies is your best bet but then again I haven't been home since 03.
