Hello together,

I´m new to this site and I just wanted to say "Hello".

I´m a modeller since I have been 7 years old. I began with planes, then I made tanks and since a few years I`m infected by the Figure-Virus. The most I love is sculpting. I will show some pics in the figures section soon.

And now some of my Bio....: I was born in Ingolstadt /Bavaria and now I live in Roßhaupten. That`s about 10 minitues to Schloß Neuschwanstein - I think some people know it. I´m a Physio-Therapist, I`m married and have two children. In my freetime I`m coaching a Soccer-team of 8 years old children - although I never played Soccer for myself, but I played Icehockey.

So far so good. I´m looking forward to the discussions in this forum.

All the best,
Markus

Greetings Markus from Freistaat Bayern! Welcome aboard, you'll find good company here. Speaking of good company, I just returned from a wonderful vacation from your part of the world. Spent a long weekend at Garmisch-Partenkirchen and fell in love with the scenery, food, people, etc. Wish we could have made it to Neuschwanstein but just didn't have the time. Look forward to seeing some of your figures sometime.
Cheers!
-Steve

Hello Alguhan, Dave and Steve,

thanks a lot for your kind and warm welcome, too.

It`s very nice to find some more friends in this world, who share the same interests.

@Steve: The next time you will come to Germany, tell me before. So we could have a meeting. That could be very nice.

Sunny regards,
Markus

Hi Markus

Glad you wandered in. Lots of good figure builders here you should have lots to talk about. Hockey player eh... my cousin played for the Berlin team ( I think) a few years ago. I play in a couple leagues here in Canada. Just recreational of coarse. Enjoy the Big A.

Welcome aboard. I spent 3 years in Augsburg, so I am quite familiar with that region. USed to go Skiing in Garmisch every Christmas holiday. Wish I were in Munchen now sitting in an outdoor cafe with a schnittzel, pomme frits, salat und ein grosses bier. Someday I hope to have the money for a return visit.

@Paul: I played for EV-Füssen - but that`s a long time ago. :-)

@Jean-Luc: Very nice that you have been here in Neuschwanstein. If you are coming for the next time juast tell me and I spend you a beer.

@Steve: So we could all see, how small our world is. If you come back just let me know and we go to a nice Biergarten.
