Ok, no modeling for the past month or so because of swmbo and the kids demands for a backyard re-make.
Well I'm done. Just waiting on the hot-tub one more week. Now I can go back to work, I'm off disability and a two week vacation and they can spend the rest of the summer hanging out.
I've got to admit tho that hanging out at the Tiki bar [ swmbos idea ] and grillin stuff is fun.
Besides come N.F.L. time, t.v. outside, grillin, beerin to Sunday, Sunday night and Monday night games under the patio lights is something I'm looking foward to.

And my own special area.

Now all I've got to do is convince swmbo to let me get a big-screen t.v., d.v.d. and v.h.s. with surround sound to incase in something weather proof to put out there on wheels for football games and night time horror and sci-fi flicks.

That looks really nice. Did you get that patio cover at Sam's Club? I've seen one like it there anyway. My yard is our next big project. I'd be ashamed to show pics of our yard right now. Good work.

Thanks Roger, the wife got the gazebo thingie at Walmart or something, great shade giver.
And yea my back yard looked like Sanford & Sons junkyard before this.
No way was I going to post before & after pics.
Now I don't mind spending time outside and coctailing and piggin off the grill. l.o.l.
The kids are in the pool at 6 or 7 a.m. and mom and I will definitly abuse the hot tub.

Hello cheyenne!

Great 1/1 model of a typical American back yard you made here! Very nicely done! I'm really jealous and won't show the pics to my girlfriend! I'm afraid she would ask me to do the same and make me work all night and day!

Definitely Tamiya quality! Bravo!

Nice patio

But, in my taste, too busy, too much stuff to walk around...

Don, yes it is very busy but I guess you missed the line in my post about this being SWMBO's idea.
I was just the contractor, she was the job boss. l.o.l.
You also might notice that my space --- the Tiki bar and grill area is tucked away in a corner and I had to fight for that.
Max I watch that show all the time, its hilarious, the look on some of the peoples faces after seeing the makeover - sometimes like " you ass what the hell did you do to my room !!!! "
Jean - Luc, yes it took 2 weeks to build the deck the boardwalking, install the pool, assemble all the other crap and paint everything swmbo wanted painted. The kids swingset from hell isn't even in the picture and as a 1/1 build -- it sucked.
Jonathan, believe me we get our butts kicked with Noreasters from up your way and hurricanes from the south all year. Thats why I've got the big concrete patio blocks on the gazebo - thingie.
I installed all kinds of lights out there and last night we kinda partied out a bit. I've got to get some night pics.
I also can't wait for football season, if it stays nice enough -- games -- beer -- food.
Thanks again Cheyenne

Cheyenne,
Great job on jour back yard. Love that Tiki bar idea: those seats are just waiting for some bikini girls!
But I also see your SWMBO is watching you carefully behind the door window :-)
Is that a swimmingpool in the back?
Great thing if so, not only for swimming but also RC-boats!
