Thanks guys for the encouragement and support to try and re-build it, but there's a time issue. The program that this was intended for will end next month and there's no way I could have another one built by then. The majority of the kids didn't know about it , so they won't miss out on anything. A lesson learned here....don't try to hang 20 foot dragons by yourself.

Here it is:

You can sort of see the tail in one of the photos.

Maybe I'll try this again in the fall with a dinosaur.

It was good learning experience and I think I could improve upon the design next time.

WOW Steven it looked GREAT! I'm sorry you don't have the time to recreate it. If your dino looks half as good it will be great! Keep on keeping on!

Steve I just played the last post for your ragon and yes it was a pitty but at least you did it and actually finished and learnt from it. That is a big plus - Use to hang of ladders as a Visual Merchandiser in a retail store and know how tricky things are. all the best

One thought, and if I'm talking stupid please don't take offense. If I understand it, it was in one piece. The next one I would do in easy to attach / detatch sections. You can hang it and make sure it is well and firmly hung before attaching and hanging the next section. I certainly don't build in this medium or this scale, so I am probably stating what is obvious to me but may not be applicable in this situation.
