seeing as i am just starting to make models/dios, i took my glass topped desk and turned it into a temporary (as in all summer long and probably then some) model bench

however, i am running out of room and things are starting to clutter...

hah, now looking at this picture i realize i really should move the bag of skittles away from the toxic paints and glue, ah well.

i spent 7 years glueing in my room beside my bed when i started out. the smell of thinner sure knocked me out enought ot fall asleep real good :-)

as for the skittles, i suggest eating them instead of putting them away

Well you are off to a good start. I would suggest a trip to either a dollar store or a Wal-Mart to pick up a small plastic bin for the paint. With it all in one place it will open up some room on the table top. Another idea is to use old cups or cans to keep paint brushes and or tools in. Lastly, I agree with Frank, eat the skittles.

Happy modeling

I thought the Skittles bag was there for colour reference :-) :-) .
I find my bench looks the same way after a couple of days of building , I'm trying to my clean up my act so to speak and clean as I go. My patiences (and probably my talent ) is directly related to how clean my work space is.
Yes I would also suggest a bin or small shelving unit to help with the clutter. Get your bench down to just having what you need at the time, (I'm A good one to talk :-) :-) ).

Regards
Bruce
