Just thought I'd share a model moment... and my Deal (Steal?) of the week.....

was at the local hardware store to buy a doggie tieout.. and they keep a small supply of testors paint in stock.. anyways they had the rack on the clearance counter with the stuff marked .50 cents each.. anyways I told the owner.. after i had picked out a bunch of paint.. how much he wanted for the rack.. thought I could use it to store some paint... he said make offer I said $10.. he replied.. $15 and the entire thing is yours.. paint and all.......



not that much for military cept for the clear coats and flat black and a few others.. but a lot if I ever get around to doing some of my old truck kits...

20 assorted paint markers
42 spary cans.
45 bottles....

and 1 testors rack...

now that I have a store display although it is a small one I will now
consider myself hard core........... lol........




oh and Swambo was struck speechless when I walked in with the rack......lol

That's a real steal! When I worked in the LHS I was always trying to convince the manager to sell me the old Humbrol paint stand... he just wouldn't bite though... :-)
