I'm planning to build a Finnish T-55 from the tamiya kit. The only problem is that the kit doesn't come with a basic loaders hatch. There are T-55A hatches with and without an AA-MG, but only one T-55 hatch, with an MG mount. There are major differences, a plain hatch can't be modified from the AA-MG kit part so I need a replacement. (and my scratch-buildin skills aren't that great ) I remember blast models have a comprehensive resin update set that haves a right kind of hatch, but paying like 30€ for just one little hatch is a little steep.

If anyone has a T-55 loaders hatch that you part with, I would be grateful to have it. I can send some parts you need in return, of course. Send a pm and we'll work out something.

The basic hatch is on the middle row, on the left. I had to use this pic because I couldn't find any good pictures of the real thing. Can you show some pictures of the esci and lindberg parts? I haven't seen those kits and I don't know if the parts are for the right version.

Good to hear that. I didn't even think about parts being hard to locate. My stash is still so small I can remember roughly what parts I have (and even where). Good luck with your search.

Thanks for the link. But there's just a basic pe set for a T-55 by lionroar. No hatches in that one.

Doesn't matter though. "Mother" kindly offered to build me a suitable hatch. (thanks again Mother!)
