Hello ship-mates!
Im making some pots out of Magic Sculpt and when done sculpting(actually rolling) Id lowered my work lamp, 100 W, over the pieces to make them harder quicker. I had the lamp down over the pieces for not more than 10 minutes and now I notice that my green cutting mat with white squares on has "buckled", supposedly from the heat?
Has this happend to you?
Any ideas how to straitghen it out? Im thinking of hot water?
Cheers

Not to sound like a smart aleck but I'm thinking NEW mat.
Usually when something get buckled from over heating it's almost impossible to restore to original. Ouch!
Heating again with lamp and then maybe applying flat weights of some kind till it cools might work. Oven sounds like danger to me.
Good luck!

Mine did the same thing. I tossed it into the trash after trying to fix it.

We've learned a valuable lesson here today from two members, heating lamps 2 cutting mats 0, that they will take a sharp knife, but not the heat from your lamp.
