i went to newark air museum on sunday, got some great pics of their shackleton, cos i have a revell shack kit, with a whole bunch of photo etch to build, i actually bought the kit after a trip there 2 years ago. for 50 pence you can go inside, and ive got some nice cockpit photos, and quite a few of the exterior (but i took 5-6 pics with the lens cap shut! doh!)

Is that the museum entrance price or just a fee for boarding the plane? If it's the entrance, it's a good thing! Most museums here are about 8 to 12 euro at least...

thats the plane itself! entry to the museum is £5.50 adults. i'll try to get the rset of my pics on the walkaround section, i have some craking pics of recovered bomber gun turrets, and a section of lancaster fusalage that was used as a garden shed! and here it is

its a skinny white thing that spends too much time hunched over a desk building kits when the sun shines! yeah, it was great to be able to go in that plane, i forgot to mention that there was a former crew member of this plane there as well, who asked me which shackleton kit i had , revell or frogso i reckon he had built this one at some time
