Hi All
Just info on a product i came across today that can be usefull. It can be used for making quick moulds or can be shaped into any shape you want it. It is called Interfix 1001 Plastic and is available from Servistar. It comes in a granular form and needs only warm to turn it into a nice pliable blob that can be worked as you need. Cool it down and it is set that simple. Should you make a mistake then reheat it and you can try again. It is a plastic and not epoxy so it cannot become brittle.
Really a nifty product.
Regards
Dave

Thanks for the info, Dave.
Do you by any chance have a contact website or other details for Servistar?

Sorry i don't think that you get Servistar in WP. It is a hardware shop chain like Mica etc. I don't have a website for the product only a e - mail.

1001 Plastic has been around for years. I bought a box of it a few years back to fix the Cap for a Verlinden SS General. The company that makes it is in Bryanston and it should be available from most Hardware stores, but try the bigger Hardware stores in your area first
