Our form teacher at school was talking about organisation and discipline, and saying that Hells Kitchen worked because everything was organised. He asked 'What was going on in Hell's Kitchen that's not happening here?'
What did one of my classmates say?
'Cooking.'

Is Ramsay allowed to swear in the US version? Over in Blighty he punctuates his sentences with f**k!

Anybody who screams at me like that would get a pot of cold water doused on them. There is no excuse in any type of business to be abusive. Sure this is great for TV laughs, but this is probably the way this guy is. I haven't watched the show but I have seen the advertising for it

We have quite a few of these reality kitchen shows (in the gaps between the reality wife-swaps, kid-swaps, job-swaps, lifestyle-swaps, fly-on-walls, spy-in-cabs, bad-driver, diy-ers etc etc shows ) and the general concensus is that good chefs swear at their staff like Sergeants-Major on the parade ground!

Can't stand Ramsey myself.
He needs a good slap and some manners.

Trouble is you get something different on TV and it might be good the first time. Then you just get saturated with it or something similar from all the stations.
All types of reality shows have long had their day I reckon.
Over a hundred pounds for a TV licence to get given rubbish is almost criminal.

Right, what's on tonight then? :-) :-)

You are not giving the channels their due, it's not only reality shows, they do interupt them with house programms, and it needs a lot of imagenation to keep thinking of new names for 'sell your old tad at auction' programs.... :-)

TV license? what's that

I just think it would be hilarious if someone really doused the abusive chef with boiling water or smacked the construction chief with a 2x4. Now THAT I would watch.

Ramsey has violated probably every tennant of "good" human resources behavior and then some.

His behavior is boorish, and wholly inappropriate in the workplace.

It may be fun to watch, but I cringe at his comments and foul language.

But for the waivers signed by the chef contestants - he would be facing multiple allegations of harassment and verbal abuse.

I, for one, would not want to be the HR person trying to sort this out.

Sorry, my mistake. You are of course completely right!

How about 'Celebrity Brain Feast' ?

Hmm, celebrity and brain, two words you don't often associate with one and other.. :-) . But if the concept of your programm involves eating the brains of celebrities, sounds promising. We could get the public to vote ( get votin' NOW) who's brain will be served next, to the other celebrities in the house/jungle/desert island...nudity optional... :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Cheers

Yea! that's the idea... of course when I say 'brain', I refer to the organ that allows them to breathe and move at the same time! :-)
