I was just wondering, can anyone recommend a store in Edmonton. I don't have time shopping around from store to store.

Depends what you are looking for, and what part of Town. Kit wise good Tamiya prices at Hobby Wholesale on the South side, Dragon check out Kites and Other Delights or Comex in West Ed Mall (Comex also in Kingsway Garden Mall) Universal Hobbies, or Roundhouse Sales. On the Yellowhead Trail and 163 St is Hobby Center, generally good overall selection and as it is also a train place, Evergreen and Plastruct in stock. As far as detail stuff (resin, p.e.), no one really carries it anymore, unfortunately.

Cheers,
Jim

Thanks Jim, I haven’t done any modelling since I moved here five years ago. Now I'm at home watching the kids all day, I have more time to do some modelling.

I'll second what Jim said, but add one more to the list.

Great Hobbies on 75th street south of Argyle Rd. The have a great selection and can get just about anything.

BTW... Hobby Center is at 142 and Yellowhead, behind the McDonalds. They carry a few detail sets and will order whatever you want.

Join up with these guys and you'll find lots of resources:
