Guys,
My latest Creation, 1/72 Hasegawa F-18B build OOB, Decal is from the excellent sheet release by local company F-4dablemodels. Weathering is slightly heavy on this one, done mostly with Chalk Pastel .

Nice work Thomas especially the subtle weathering. I can't say I'm into planes much as it has been ages since I built my last one. Nevertheless its nice work. I'll have a go and trying to put up your photo:
Hmm, very odd. Here's another try after I've logged in to the gallery.

Masterqq, what are modifications I need to make to convert a F-18B to the Malaysian version? Is it something major? I may get a 1/48 F-18B.

err i nerver did one but as far as i knew, the B version is 2 seater training ac while the D version have all the attack capability. The B version has both seat configure as pilot while the in D version, the back seater is the radar officer. So not much of any major differences. Only the cockpit interior will have some major changes. Other than that i think some antena at the tail have to removed and reposition. The D also have the NVG for night fighting capability. arghhh to many details...
just forget it and build the B to become the D..nobody will notice..hehe

To covert the B to D, beside the cockpit different describe by Boss.
you need to add a couple of bums to the spine, forward fuselage, and tail fin.
I have a very informative article by jason in below link

you gotta get the f-4dablemodels decal which is available in HHQ. it got very good instruction how to Build a TUDM D.
Hope this help.... Let me know if you need more info..
