I was looking at some of my older models especially one which I consider one of best work. I started looking closly at the prototype( the real model that is), and noticed that were mistakes. Just by looking at the model you wouldn't think so but small things like the gasoline tank pipe on both sidesof the tracktors are in the middle of the tanks as suppose to on the sides like on my version in pics.

But one really annoying difference, which I just noticed, stupid me[:(!]) was the height of the air intake and tool compartment on top of the lves tracktor. It is simply too low to that of the drivers compartment. (See pic with red circle).

well, i guess you learn everyday. well, I really can't be bother to retify these mistakes. I just have to convince myself that it is still a great model and I should be happy that now I will be more careful in the future.

Then again, where does the limit end and where does it start? mmmmmm!
I will however take it to shows and display it but not enter it in any competitions.

The real thing:

My version.

Charles ,
My mouth is watering just looking at the pics...have been trying to get info on this one for a while.......have you got any plans you could let me have--grovel
Well with that out of the way ------lovely stuff ....I know the feeling when you finnish and then spot a "whopper".....worse when you can't correct it without demolishing the finnish........
I did a similar "job"on my BR90 but managed to correct it on the bridge-laying vehicle.....the mistake "glares " out because you know its there........very few will spot it because the model is so good--Paste -up and move back as we used to say in the army(whats done is done ..move on)
We all sympathize.... we have all been there
aye

Thank you Steve. Kind words Unfortunately I didn't have plans when i built it. Everything is based on pics I had available at the time. We are talking eye measurement all the way. At the time i couldn't find many pics on this vehicle but with some heavy modification of Italeris Hemtt truck i got the job done.

I have some pics if you would like them+
