Guys and gals, I used to get into Armorama via my bookmarked 'Latest Posts' page...
Quite simply, this was the quickest and simplest route to get to where i wanted to be.

The option 'Latest Posts' used to appear as a sub-menu item under 'Forums' in the 'Main Menu' (top left of the screen just under 'Language Selection')...

What's happened..?

I click on 'Forums' now and get nada, zip, zilch, nought-aroonie.

FYI, I'm accessing the internet using IE5.1 on a Mac

All is present and correct on my side (for a change :-) ) Latest Post butttons work fine..
Have you tried to clean your cache, page history, etc? That sometimes helps..

The latest posts link is now at the top of the page, just below the "Welcome back, acav" message where the ACTIONS: line is.

Shows up for me on all forum pages, even the forum home page.

Rob is correct... you should see it directly above next to the word "ACTIONS".

And yeah there have been a lot more changes since you posted this if you are using the default theme/view.

I still go to the mainpage. Abouf half way down near the right side there is a section Latest Posts. I just enter the forums from there. That way I don't miss any new articles and features before entering the forum

I don't know exactly how those 5 Latest Posts threads are determined because they are usually never near the top once you enter the forum.
