Aber grill ???

hello,i have the aber grill set for my jagdpanther sd.kfz.173.[italeri].i put the screens in place that fit,but there are some other parts left??.is this for a other type of jagdpanther[early one] or............and where do the chains go??
can someone help me with this.......thank you

Yep... those larger screens fit to the 'early' model jagdpanther...

The chains are, I think, part of the larger set, the full set for the jagdpanther, which I have. Going by it's instructions this gives the following:

You might have forgotten the small circle (under the vent in the center near the hammer).

The 16 chains (2x8) are used to keep the horseshoe-shaped thingies on tn their pins, and the spare tacklinks in place (marked V). The ones marked VIII might be used for keeping the towing-cables in place on the rear deck and the toll normally stored right above the hammer and crow-bar if stored on the side.
Part VI is used as a chain for holding the plug used when the machinegun was removed from the ballmount.
