Cheers all!
Is there a quick and effective way to remove Tamiya Acrylic paints without damaging the plastic?
Thanks a lot.

Yep, I've just done a Famo this week. Cover with Oven cleaner (Mr Muscle etc. ) and place in a sealed plastic bag in some kind of drip tray. Leave overnight and rinse off. Second treatment might be necessary but not always.

Cool, I gotta try this. I've used Paint stripper before but it melted plastic a bit if I did not remove it quickly with the acrylic.

Simple Green takes off Tamiya acyrlics very quickly and easily, and it's not anywhere as toxic as oven cleaner. It's much more pleasant to work with.
Oven cleaner works, but it's pretty harsh stuff.

I use Window cleaner (windex or Wal-Mart Brand) I took the Tamiya paint off of a set of tracks in about 3 minutes. HTH, Chief

unfortunatly for me, i found out the hard way that future floor wax gets rid of tamiya acrylics withotu damaging the plastic after droping a figure in it and deciding to let it settle there and get it out hte next morning ( it was about 2am..) came back and htere was no paint on hte figure...
