I think that when Terry Wogan retires from comentating on this contest, then I'll stop watching it. His comments make the whole thing palatable.
There were some great songs this year, including the winning Greek entry; but there were also some really c**p entries that got loads of votes, and some good ones that hardly scored at all.
All the Baltic & Scandinavian states vote for each other, the same with those still under the Russian sphere of influence, and again with the Balkan & Eastern Mediterranean countries - so it ain't how good the song is a lot of the time, it's where you live!!
Germany did their best entry (had to take a cold shower after that one and a few of the others!!) and came in last!

Aw come on! They were all c**p! It's hilarious the way everybody votes for their neighbours. We've only got france next door, and they won't vote for us because, well just beacuse we're better than them (at everything). It's about time the BBC pensioned this one off.
