TIC I covers all the Heer units that used the Tiger, TIC II covers Grossdeutshland, all the SS units, and a few miscellaneous units (like Fehrman, sp?) that had Tigers.

Leopold, are you planning on sending these tanks into battle? I think both of them are really nice tanks, and if your looking to buy one. Dragon makes the King Tiger and its got alot of goodies in it such as aluminum barrel, 8 or so figures, PE, and more. Its a nice kit.

Uhm Harrison, did you read "Leo's" first post? He's asking about a couple of books "Tigers In Combat I & II", not models

"Leo" if you are only going to buy one of them it would depend on where your interests lie. They both have lots of great pics, plus the unit combat journals. Personally if I only had one I would probably pick up "TIC II" because I have a little more interest in the SS Tiger units. Having said that "TIC I" probably is a little bigger with a few more pics.

Like mentioned, if your interest lies more in SS units then TIC II would probably be more interesting.

That said though, I find the pictures and book quality in general to be better with TIC I.

However, TIC II has a table in the back outlining Tiger deliveries to particuluar units which is very beneficial to those who really want to dig into the research end.

So picking up just one could be a tough choice. I believe that if you buy both on Amazon you could qualify for free super saver shipping and get them for about forty bucks. Also if you keep your eye open on Ebay you can find good deals on them.

Yep..........look here. I swear, if you can't get something on ebay, you don't really need it.
