Well just wondering what you guys do for a living. Census profiling.
Lets start with me,
I am 24, I left the army for national service 7 mths ago, i served as a platoon sergeant at BMTC.
A week after i left the army, i join the Singapore Civil defence, as an Emergency Response Specialist. Now i am a section commander in a fire station in the west side of Singapore. I ve been making models since i was 9.

I was about to send a post like this too :-)

I'm 19 this year (I think i'm one of the younger modellers around in this forum). Still a student of course. At a local polytechnic. Been modelling since I was don't know how old (can't remember already). Started off with those Tamiya 4WD race cars. Played them with my primary school friends.

Until I went to secondary 2, I was building more 1/700 ships and slowly got into the 1/35 military models.

However, i paused for a while and slowly, i lost toouch with modelling. But i'm back now, and I'm trying to refresh all my knowledge of modelling and start it all over again.

Hi, i'm 22 and believe it or not, i've not done my NS yet.

Since i'm already 22, its time for me to make plans for my future, so i decided to sign on the Police force and serve my NS from there.

I only started modelling about a year or so ago i think.

Still new to this stuff.

guess I am the oldest @ 30. Working as engineer in Mindef. started modelling 10 years ago but stopped for 7 years, restarted 1 years back and still consider myself a beginner. And can you believe i re-started with a 1/350 Yamato! Out of box with no weathering done.... switch to armor recently only.

Cheers!

:-) I actually have a 1/350 Yamato lying under my desk. Won't open it anytime soon. I need more practice before I begin on that.

You got anything about the BV 260? SCDF just bought 4 unwanted vehicles from SAF. SAy i remember the Bronco look way better than what SCDF is getting now. The BV 260 looks very old. The army will always be my first love. I am a riflemen first, a fire fighter 2nd..

You might want to explore the gully drains near my house. Why not get some tunneling gear you can follow me down....

So I guess I'm the oldest here at 33. I've being doing model kits for 8yrs and I'm only into modern armour. Currently I'm working in Cash Converters as a supervisor and I'm married with a 6yrs old son.

Cheers

Well.. it doesn't matter if you're the oldest.. because.. You make some Beautiful Armour! Looked at some of the builds you've done in your gallery. Impressive. The Camo you have on your tanks are simple. You don't overdo it. Haha.. just one thing, how come you can resist the temptation of not getting WW2 tanks. :-) Joking..

Cheers
