Well, the Wife and I got a call last weekend about a nearby house that was up for sale; We have looked at around 8 or so up to this point, but we got lucky this time around. The realtor called before the house was even listed to give us first dibs, and after looking at it (4 BR, 2 bath, FP, finished basement, detached garage, BIG dang barn, sits on 3 useable acres, for $155K), we filled out a Purchase and Sale contract...

Got the call today that the Sellers accepted our offer and will sign the contract tomorrow and, all goes well, we will be closing on July 1st!

Here are a few pics...

Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!

Hey John-
It's on 12A .2 miles from the old Roxbury dump, or 4.5 miles from where Rt. 12A splits off of 12 by Norwich University... Oh yeah, gonna have a model room big time...

Hey John...
Consider yourself invited to the housewarming party... I'd like to hook up in person but I ain't 'zactly sure if you're doing the tooth thing or not when I can pull it off....

That also goes for any other piggies who live in the 150 mile+ area that want to meet in person at my new sty...

Sticky... Definitely (Ya know you wanna )
TankCarl... Perhaps, bring me some solvaset
Lord Davidus... Don't forget the SVI...
Chaddus... I want some real Wisconsin cheese...

I'm absolutely serious about this; If I can figure out a set date to throw an ersatz housewarming party, any and all you guys are invited to attend; However, I cannot vouch for sleeping arraingments (But I will have a bigass barn, lol... Think roughly 75' by 30')...

Congrats on your new place. I'm in the process of having ours built. 3500+ square feet with one serious model room. They haven't gotten the roads and curbs in yet so it is a ways off. Hopefully by the end of the year. I can only wish and dream about as great a price as yours though. Once again, Congrats. "Q"

Looks like you'll be living high off the hog now :-) . If you have access to a metal detector, start probing around-never know what you might find. BTW, that's going to look great in winter colors. Enjoy! (++) .

Hey John-
Kids are OK long as you can bring something to entertain them, depending on age (we have a 17 and 19 y/o)... lol

I'll hafta run down to Barre and drop in on your office just to say hi beforehand...

Carl-
A table would be cool, however, it may wind up being just you and Sticky from the looks of things; In which case, we can assemble down in my model dungeon lol...
