hey does anyone have any extra German ww2 MG ammo belts? I was taking mine off the sprue and it broke into a few useless pieces, I'm willing to pay (for however much those little things are worth)
thanks

Hey mech,
Is it possible you could use some of the drums? Those dont look as fancy but they do the job? Just wondering if you had any laying around anywhere.

Tamiya german feild guns (somthing like that)comes with the drums, if youd still like a belt, and for the same price, buy the ambush in poroe (somthing like that :-)) figure set by dragon. Its only $4 at my LHS. So i guess its worth it, and youll have some figs to do. Good luck buddy!
BTW: did you go to the Taste of Chaos concert? Tickets were sold out in my city, I wanted to see the used and senses fail.

but while were on the subject, how do you drape ammo belts over soldiers, or bend them without them breaking? I have no idea at all.

For the Browning .50cal HMG. I used an old computers data cable. That flat one with around 12 wires laid side by side. Cut it in the appropirate length of the ammunition then stuch it to the feed of the HMG. Worked for me. for german mg42, well it's a different story.

This old Tamiya set has a pretty long belt.
I think if you put it in hot water, you could straighten it out pretty easily. You can catch these guys at the Hobby Lobby 50% sale dirt cheap.
